A player earns a Clutch Game every time his total Fantasy points for a given game exceed the Quality Factor for the given game.
This is a calculated value for each position (QB, RB, WR and TE) based on the league’s scoring method. Every player who exceeds this position-specific factor in a given week earns a Clutch Game for the given week. This factor usually identifies (on average) the top 12 quarterbacks, 24 running backs, 36 wide receivers and 12 tight ends each week.
Clutch Rate (CR)
This is determined by dividing the number of Clutch Games earned by the number of games played in a given time period (season, month, etc.). Players are ranked as follows:
Good – CR over 60 percent
Very good – CR over 70 percent
Excellent – CR over 80 percent
Elite – CR over 90 percent
